The Ibanez Artcore AGS83B Semi-Acoustic Offers Extra Easy Upper-Fret Access The AGS83B semi-acoustic features a 17th fret body joint which provides much easier playing in the upper registers than the 14th fret body joint found in traditional full- and semi-acoustic guitars. The AGS83 is another great example of Ibanez guitars like the Benson and Metheny models that are based on the traditional jazz box, but then extend the boundaries of the instrument. The AGS83 features a 2 5/8-inch wide semi-acoustic body of flamed maple, sides, and back fitted with Artcore humbucking pickups.
